What is Thai Massage?

Thai Massage, also known as Traditional Thai Massage, is a form of therapeutic touch that involves a unique combination of massage techniques, stretching, and energy work. The recipient lies on a mat or cushion on the floor, and the therapist uses their hands, thumbs, elbows, forearms, or even feet to apply pressure, knead and stretch various parts of the body.

In Thai Massage, the therapist actively moves the recipient's body, which differentiates it from other types of massage where the person typically remains still. The therapist will use a series of pressure techniques and movements to manipulate the muscles and joints, enhancing the flow of energy and improving blood circulation, contributing to better overall health. By releasing blockages in these energy pathways, Thai Massage aims to balance the body’s energy and promote relaxation on physical and mental well-being.
